The Ages of Pyrion: A Timeline

Mythspire TeamApril 4, 2026

The history of Pyrion stretches back to before the world had a name. It is a story told in ages, each one shaped by war, sacrifice, and the consequences of power wielded without restraint.

The Dawn of Time Before the mortal realm existed, the cosmos was held in a fragile balance between two forces -- the Luminarchs and the Nocturnarchs. Their conflict, the Astral War, raged for millennia and ultimately gave birth to Infernum and its first master, Malakar.

The Lawless Age Pyrion was a world without rulers. Scattered settlements survived among bandits and raiders while dragons dominated the Dragonspire Mountains and the Verdant Expanse stood as the only beacon of civilization.

The First Age A Seraph fell, the veil between realms shattered, and the Infernal Hordes poured into the mortal world. The Verdant Expanse was destroyed, Tenebris was consumed by corruption, and mortal champions were forced to seal the Abyssal Gate at a cost the world is still paying.

The Second Age From the ashes, the Order of the Divine Flame was founded to guard the seal. The fortress city of Solis Aeternum was raised on the border of the Blighted Wastes. And in the cracks between factions, the Mercenary Coalition took shape.

The full timeline is now available on the Lore of the Realm page. Each age is told through detailed event cards that trace the history from the cosmic war between celestial titans to the formation of the factions that define Pyrion today.

This is only the beginning. More ages and events will be added as the story unfolds.
